Keynote presentations
These are informational, motivating and entertaining speeches delivered at general session meetings. They can be short as 15 minutes and as long as 1.5 hours.
Key notes are tailored to the audience. Possible topics are HR, customer service, business communication, immigration, employability. See examples below.
- Foreign-born Workforce. The foreign born workforce is among the fastest growing groups in many American industries. According to the research conducted by The Urban Institute, " the number of immigrants is rapidly growing in the Connecticut workforce, while the number of working age natives (age 18 to 64) is falling". This keynote covers such issues as recruitment, retention, customer service, cultural, linguistic and overview of legal aspects of foreign labor.
- Cultural Understanding. This educational and entertaining talk compares cultures of the world to our own. It builds awareness of cultural differences, fosters cultural understanding in the community and provides practical advice and tips on effective communication across cultures.
