About Dr. Nara


Dr. Nara Venditti is a nationally acclaimed educator, speaker, author and coach. She is the president and founder of Succeed in America, LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in global workforce competence including cross-cultural communication, employability, managing workplace diversity, foreign-born employee development, and multicultural customer service.

Nara’s diverse background in education and business is the foundation for her work and the key to Succeed in America’s success. The relevance of her programs extends from middle and high schools through Ivy League institutions and global corporations.

Over the past 25 years Dr.Venditti held positions ranging from college professor to in-house international assignment consultant. Author of more than 65 published works in structural and applied linguistics, cross-cultural communication and employability, she is a third generation educator and the recipient of State of Connecticut Official Citation for her tireless dedication to making a difference in the community.  Her recent books are “How to Get a Job in the USA” and “ Ameri$peak”.


Succeed in America’s programs on diversity and communication enable companies build synergies in diverse teams and become more productive and profitable. They help companies maximize productivity and foster teamwork when working with diverse groups of people.  The programs promote a creative change of ideas and solutions. Dr. Venditti’s programs and books on careers and employment helped thousands of American and foreign-born professionals across industries and cultures get employed and to succeed in the American workplace and to gain cultural competence.


Additionally, she is a columnist for various business and ethnic periodicals, including Mobility, S-business and Multicultural Review. She writes blogs,  on employment and cultural diversity. She is a consultant to media on cultural understanding, diversity and immigration issues and a past host of Channel 23 Community Forum Public Television Program.  In addition, she is the Diversity Director of Connecticut Human Resource Management (SHRM) State Council.


She holds a PhD in structural and applied linguistics from St. Petersburg State University.
